Last week I was !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! by my co-worker's vehicle purchase.

Well, it's the new year and I'm back in the office so I figured I would ask. Saw it in person quickly and while it is a nice little thing it is not my cup of tea (speaking of which, I need some...cold over at my desk!).

He was driving home on Christmas Eve and was talking with his girlfriend about making smarter purchases and being more careful with money. That led him to his vehicle search and how he was hung up on the Jeep for so long. Thought about gas and how much driving he does and thought that a smaller SUV would make sense.

"So I started to pay attention to the cars I was passing. Which one did I hate the least?"

That vehicle ended up being the CX-5. He was at the dealership the day after Christmas and ended up with a good deal so went for it. He likes it, stunned by how quick it is/feels in comparison to his old GC. Towing capacity is 2,000 lbs so he just needs to install a hitch for his little trailer. He's happy with the mileage and how "sleek" it looks.

Good for him.

Kinja'd!!!

Gladiator that Jeep needs to make real, for your troubles.

I was unaware that TRD made a "Sleekness to the body" kit for the CX-5.

I think he made a good choice. I've been very happy with the CX-5 we got for my wife.
